By checking the "I agree to the terms and conditions" box at checkout, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by the following terms regarding your purchase from Rink Products ("the Company"). These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
1.Limitation of Liability and Assumption of Risk
Rink Products provides specialized ice rink maintenance equipment. The Customer acknowledges that the use of these tools—including but not limited to ice blades, edgers, and spreader accessories—carries inherent risks. Rink Products shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or incidental damages arising from the misuse, improper handling, lack of safety gear, or unauthorized modification of our products. All products must be used strictly for their intended maintenance purposes.
2.30-Day Replacement for Damage on Arrival
We stand behind the condition of the equipment we ship. If a product arrives damaged or faulty, the Customer may request a replacement within thirty (30) days of the delivery date. The remedy under this section is replacement of the affected item, not a refund. To request one, the Customer must provide photographs of the product showing the damage or fault and, where the carrier appears to have mishandled the shipment, photographs of the packaging as received. Rink Products pays the shipping cost of an approved replacement.
3.Inspection on Delivery
It is the Customer's responsibility to inspect all items on receipt. Once a product has been put into use, Rink Products cannot replace, refund or exchange it or any part of it. This applies to blades and to every other product we sell, regardless of how much of the thirty (30) day period remains. For orders shipped outside the United States, Canada and Mexico, Rink Products may at its discretion issue a credit toward a future order in place of a replacement, particularly on resurfacer blades, where return freight is disproportionate to the value of the item.
4.Final Sale After 30 Days
All sales are considered final thirty (30) days after the date of delivery. Under no circumstances will Rink Products issue refunds, accept returns, or process exchanges once this 30-day period has expired.
5.Prohibition of Unauthorized Resale
Purchasing from Rink Products does not grant the Customer the right to distribute or resell our equipment. The unauthorized resale of any Rink Products item is strictly prohibited. Commercial resale is only permitted under an explicit, written licensing agreement authorized by Rink Products.
